Two years after packing her bags and suddenly leaving an abusive relationship, Kristi-Marree Hart is still homeless.

The mother of four has boarded with friends, stayed in hotels and now lives in transitional housing.
Despite lodging hundreds of rental applications, she keeps getting knocked back.
"I looked at about 150 houses and wasn't getting anything. I ended up boarding with people from our church, renting two rooms for four children and myself. I stayed there for eight months," she told the ABC.
