NSPCA to lay charges against East London staff for slaughtering injured goose

The National Council of Societies for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (NSPCA) says it will lay charges against at the East London SPCA in the Eastern Cape for animal cruelty.

This comes after a video surfaced on social media showing some staff slaughtering an injured goose.
The three employees in the video have since been suspended by the East London Managing Committee, pending a disciplinary enquiry into the inhumane slaughter and handling of the goose confiscated from a property in East London.
