NS&I backs down on plan to axe Premium Bond prize cheques in the post

NS&I confirms it will continue to let savers receive prize cheques in the post 
Premium Bonds are UK's favourite savings product, held by over 20m people  
NS&I planned to start paying winnings into bank accounts only in December
But some customers were unable to register their bank details with NS&I online
Others had no desire to share their details with the organisation at all
We revealed NS&I had only surveyed customers with the internet about the plan
