The National Population Commission, (NPC) in Ekiti State on Tuesday asked residents not to entertain fear or see its officials deployed to conduct the Enumeration Area Demarcation, (EAD) exercise in the State as intruders.
Mr. Ayodeji Ajayi, the Federal Commissioner for NPC in the State, in a statement made available to DAILY POST through Mr Adeyanju Samuel, State Director of NPC, noted that those sent to execute the project were duly assigned, and that they should be treated as friends.
Ajayi, who is a former Ekiti State Head of Service, disclosed that Ado Local Government Area of the state is currently hosting NPC staff for the exercise, added that all premises in the LGA would be demarcated.
