NPAR rescue injured hiker in Kiskatinaw Provincial Park, stranded snowmobilers on Williston Lake

FARMINGTON, B.C. – North Peace Search and Rescue responded to two incidents this weekend.
North Peace Search and Rescue were called in to assist an injured hiker in Kiskatinaw Provincial Park Saturday.
NPSAR says the hiker was rescued from the bottom of the river valley using a stretcher wheel and rope assist.

On Friday evening, RCMP called NPSAR to help rescue stranded snowmobilers on Williston Lake.
A helicopter mission launched Saturday morning after an attempt to reach the pair was turned around.
