Even before former CM BS Yediyurappa could spell out a possible tie-up with the JDS, former minister CP Yogeshwar recently voiced his personal support for the alliance, stressing the need to maximise Karnataka’s representation in the Parliament. Former Deputy CM Dr CN Ashwath Narayan attempted to temper Yogeshwar’s enthusiasm, insisting that such decisions rest with the party’s high command. Yogeshwar, undeterred, continued to express his personal preference for journalists.
