Christmas Day could look different this year, for more than one reason. 
The National Weather Service issued a hazardous weather outlook at 4:58 a.m. Wednesday for northern New York and parts of Vermont, including Chittenden County, and it doesn't sound pretty. 
"A strong area of low pressure is expected to impact the North Country late Thursday into Friday, bringing localized heavy rainfall and gusty winds," the agency wrote.
