Norwegian gas supply fell 1.4% month on month in March to 316.5mn m
3/day, which was also 0.7% below the forecast, the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate (NPD) reported on April 20. Year-on-year, production was down 8.4% despite the cold weather in March and the depletion of storage sites across Europe.
Output is expected to slump to 276mn m
3/d in April and then 274mn m
3/d in May and further again in June as the planned maintenance season gets underway. But it should then bounce back to 316mn m
3/d in July. Supply is expected to decline again in late summer and early autumn, before recovering to 334mn m
