Northwood Police Respond To Man Standing On Route 4 With Shotgun

NORTHWOOD, NH — Northwood police responded to the area of Route 4 and Route 43 for a report of an "active shooter" on Sunday, according to police.
When officers arrived they located a vehicle about a quarter of a mile south of Route 4 on Route 43. The victims in the vehicle were not injured and reported they had been traveling on Route 43 when they encountered a subject with a shotgun.
The victims told police the man was standing in the roadway, wearing a mask, and holding the shotgun. The subject approached the vehicle and proceeded to shoot out the tire of their vehicle and fled the scene in a black pickup truck.
