NORTH OLMSTED, Ohio -- Construction of North Olmsted’s first pocket park, on Butternut Ridge Road, concluded in late 2020, with an official dedication ceremony scheduled for this spring.
“It’s a nice amenity, and we’re thrilled to have it,” Mayor Kevin Kennedy said. “It’s not just the use of the pocket park, but the aesthetics of it. Maybe you go for a jog and do a workout at the park or hang out with your kids at the pocket park.”
Located across from the Canterbury Road intersection and alongside Interstate 480, the quarter-acre pocket park will feature landscaping, hardscaping, lighting, public art and recognition signage about its location in the historic district.
