Calls to end COVID-19 lockdowns continued as about 90 people staged another ‘Freedom Rally’ at the North Bay Waterfront Saturday.
The latest in North Bay’s bi-weekly protests included speeches on freedom of speech and the Charter of Rights and Freedoms, the creation of a ‘permanent medical police state,’ as well as the psychological impacts, suicides, overdoses and delayed care at hospitals caused by lockdowns.

The speakers also took aim at politicians, the legacy media for being a government-owned ‘propaganda industry,’ hypocrisy from health officials, and skepticism around the seriousness of COVID-19, vaccines and the effectiveness of public health measures such as mask wearing.
