Norristown endorses Philadelphia inspector as pick for police chief

The municipality issued a statement Thursday that Philadelphia Staff Inspector Jacqueline Bailey-Davis was chosen to serve as chief of the Norristown Police Department. Council members are expected to formally appoint her at a work session next week.
