Norphlet fire chief, firefighters named Citizens of the Year

Norphlet Volunteer Fire Department Chief Sonny Harper and the department's firefighters were selected by the Norphlet City Council as the annual Citizen(s) of the Year earlier this month. A ceremony was held and the firefighters honored during the city's annual Tree Lighting Ceremony on Saturday, Dec. 9.
