All Tomorrow’s Parties was made from footage shot over the course of ten years of the long-running festival, both by fans and filmmakers alike. And while Tarnation director Jonathan Caouette was likely the best choice to assemble this footage, in the end I can’t tell if there was too much or too little for him to work with. For a film about a series of concerts known for incredible lineups, so much of the runtime is filler.
