A 16-year-old was shot and injured in the Fairgrounds neighborhood Tuesday morning, according to NOPD. The shooting happened at the intersection of Rosiere Street and Castiglione Street. Police say the teen was approached by unknown men who started shooting him. The 16-year-old was struck and ran to the 1800 block of Gentilly Boulevard, according to police. The teen was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
