TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — The No. 4 ranked Florida State women’s tennis earns a thrilling 4-3 win over No. 22 Miami on senior day.
“What an unbelievable roller coaster of a win,” said Head Coach Jennifer Hyde. “I thought we maybe played some of the best doubles that we’ve played so far this season,  across-the-board. Miami came out very hot in singles, made a ton of balls, and jumped out to four first sets. But our girls showed some incredible determination and resiliency tonight and found ways to get three more points on the board. Petra was an absolute warrior to find her way back 6 match points down, down 2-5 in the 3rd set to clinch. College tennis…there’s absolutely nothing like it.”
