(NOBLE) The Noble Village Board met in regular session this past Monday night. The Board : discussed, but took no action on the cost estimate for the Village’s Summer Street Maintenance Program – while the funds available are being reviewed, the $48,037 estimate involves the oiling and chipping of all east and west streets in the Village : also discussed, but took no action on a bid schedule for water line replacement work on the Village’s final section of old cast iron pipe – along South First Street and South Locust Street, plus the replacement of two water hydrants, one along South First Street and the other along Glenwood Road – the estimated cost at $77,900 : noted that additional work is needed at the Village’s sewer lagoon with more information and discussion at the next board meeting : agreed to continue with the bi-monthly board meetings at the Lions Club Building in Noble : noted that Cross Connection Surveys will be mailed out with the Village water bills in May, requesting that all water customers complete, sign, and return the survey to Village Hall : noted the MayFest Car Show and more will be held May 8th in the Noble Village Park : noted the Village water hydrants will be flushed on Wednesday and Thursday, May 12th and 13th : noted the Villagewide Garage Sale Day in Saturday, May 15th : and noted the Oath of Office will be given to the newly elected Village officials prior to the next regular meeting on May 10, starting at 6:45.
