No signboards in Marathi: BMC issues notice to 176 shops

The civic body inspected 3,269 shops and commercial establishments on Tuesday, of which 3,093 have set up signboards displaying the name of their shops in Marathi Devanagari script, while 176 or 5 per cent of the total entities were non-compliant with the rules.
