No new variant but severity, hospitalisation being monitored: NCDC on surge in COVID cases

Even though COVID-19 cases are surging in the country but the severity and hospitalisation is being monitored as no new variant has been reported, the Director of the National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) Dr Sujeet Singh said on Monday.
