Sarnia city council won’t introduce any new taxes for the remainder of its term – until after the 2022 municipal election.
“Good economic growth should always be our focus, not the creation of new ways to tax our citizens and businesses,” said Coun. Bill Dennis. His motion found approval in an 8-1 vote.
