No inspection stickers in state until at least the weekend as Shrewsbury company battles tech problems

Massachusetts vehicle owners with inspections that expired at the start of the month will have to wait until Saturday at the earliest to get a new sticker.

A technical problem that began last week has not been solved, and Registry of Motor Vehicle officials say it won't be fixed by Friday.
State registry officials have asked police to go easy on motorists with inspections that expired as of April 1. Those car owners, the RMV said Tuesday, have until the end of April to obtain a sticker.
