QUEBEC — Despite millions spent on promotion campaigns, there is no guarantee food tagged “made in Quebec” at the grocery store is actually a Quebec product, the province’s sustainable development commissioner said Thursday.
And he said Quebec’s Ministry of the Environment has tolerated snow dumping on the side of roads and near waterways for the last 25 years without paying attention to the fact such snow waste is usually filled with contaminants.
