Goldsboro, N.C. — No. 16 Wayne Country Day overcame a slow start and a bad foul situation to come back and defeat No. 25 Greenfield School by a score of 81-79 on Friday night. The game was played at Wayne Country Day in Goldsboro. Wayne Country Day is a member of the NCISAA 2A classification, while Greenfield School is in 1A. Both teams play in the NCISAA Coastal Plains Conference.
