NLEX Corporation is planning to begin the construction of a two-kilometer expressway that links Mindanao Avenue to Quirino Highway in early September.
As part of the current administration’s Build Build Build Program, the P2-billion project will be integrated into the future NLEX expansion to C-5/C.P. Garcia near Katipunan Avenue, and is projected to alleviate traffic congestion along Mindanao Avenue for motorists passing through NLEX, according to J. Luigi L. Bautista, NLEX Corp. President and General Manager.
It will serve as an alternate route to certain areas in Manila through the NLEX Harbor Link up to the new Navotas Interchange along Mel Lopez Boulevard (R-10). It’s also a part of the 11.5-kilometer NLEX C-5 Link between C.P. Garcia Avenue, Regalado Avenue, and Congressional Avenue in Quezon City.
