Dimapur, Aug. 12 (EMN): The Nagaland Legislative Assembly Secretariat and a host of schools observed ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaigns as part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav to celebrate 75th year of India’s Independence. The Nagaland Legislative Assembly Secretariat organised a programme under `Har Ghar Tiranga,’ a campaign launched by the Government of India from August 13 to the 15th to encourage all citizens to hoist national flag at their homes with pride to mark the 75th year of India’s Independence. An update from NLA secretariat informed that besides the assembly secretariat staff, students from the Government Middle School, Secretariat, Kohima, attended the programme. The Central Bureau of Communication Field Office, Kohima, also organised ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign at Kendriya Vidyala School, Kohima, on Friday. According to a PIB release, the programme was organised with the focus to strengthen people’s relationship with the tricolour and invoke a feeling of patriotism in the hearts of the students and to promote awareness about the Indian national flag.
