NJ lawmakers, airport workers on front lines of COVID pandemic rally for health benefits

More than 100 airport workers and state lawmakers rallied on Monday in support of a bill that would provide a health care benefit supplement to about 4,000 essential workers in New Jersey.
A group of subcontracted airport workers, including baggage handlers, cabin cleaners, wheelchair attendants and terminal cleaners, gathered on Zoom to call for New Jersey to pass the Healthy Terminals Act, a law similar to one passed in New York last month.
