Nixa assistant principal facing child porn charges fired

NIXA, Mo. (AP) - An assistant principal at a southwest Missouri junior high school who is facing charges related to child pornography has been fired by the local school board.
Fronterhouse was charged last month in federal court with sexual exploitation of a child for the purpose of producing child pornography.

An affidavit filed in the case said the 13-year-old victim was exchanging sexually explicit text messages with Fronterhouse, who was posing as a 14-year-old girl. The boy was encouraged to send sexually explicit images of himself, according to the affidavit.
