Though the national and global economies are suffering negative impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic, Ninh Binh province has still set a target of 2.4 billion USD from exports in 2021.To reach the target, the province has set out synchronous and drastic measures to boost export-import activities and circulation of goods, especially seeking and expanding markets and speeding up administrative reforms.

In March, Ninh Binh's export value saw a decline of 6.6 percent as compared to the same month of last year. However, its export turnover still reached 602.6 million USD in the first quarter, up 0.7 percent year on year.
