At their landlord’s request, Elizabeth and Jayde watered Gore’s plants and fed her cat, which they later put on a plane to join its owner.
Gore had turned off the power at her property, so she asked her tenants to store her placenta in their freezer.
“The way she asked made me feel bad, she said she had no one else,” Elizabeth said.
The situation worsened in February 2020 when Gore told the couple to sort out their own gas supply. Elizabeth pointed out that this was contrary to the tenancy agreement, but the following day, the gas was disconnected.
