The Ondo State High Court in Ore has struck out the memorandum of appearance and statement of defence filed by the state's Attorney General (AG) in the case between the state government and a private company, Sao Agro-Allied Services Limited and over 10,000 farmers from its Oluwa Forest Reserve. The decision of the court comes after the aggrieved farmers protested against their forceful eviction from the forest reserve and sued the state government through their counsel, Tope Temokun.
