Nigerian Court Sacks Anyanwu As PDP National Secretary As Party Locks Gate To Avoid Being Served Fresh Order

A high court sitting in Enugu has ordered Senator Samuel Nnaemeka Anyanwu to stop parading himself as the National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). SaharaReporters gathered that the National Secretariat of the party refused to collect the fresh order as the party locked its main gate, preventing the court bailiff from serving its executives. It was gathered that the Umar Damagum-led PDP had consistently disobeyed court orders.
