He became a host on the iconic British game show in 2011. 
And Nick Hewer marked his final day of filming in the Countdown studio on Thursday as he donned false lashes and a chocolate wig while joking around with his colleagues, Rachel Riley and Susie Dent. 
The TV host, 77, who will be replaced by Anne Robinson, 76, later this year, made sure his final day was one to remember as a pregnant Rachel, 35, documented their shenanigans on social media and dubbed him 'Hewer The Skewer'.
