NHI Committee backs scrapping premium opt-out for overseas Taiwanese

Taipei, Feb. 25 (CNA) Most members of the National Health Insurance (NHI) Committee support a proposal to stop overseas citizens from suspending premium payments then immediately resuming coverage upon returning to Taiwan, according to the committee's executive secretary Chou Shu-wan (周淑婉).
