Newsom kicks off campaign to enshrine right to gay marriage in California constitution

Two decades after directing San Francisco to issue the country's first gay marriage license as mayor, Gov. Gavin Newsom on Friday kicked off a campaign to enshrine the right to marriage equality in California's constitution.
