Utility credit offers added energy support
FREMONT - In addition to the Emergency Home Energy Assistance Program (EHEAP) that provides winter heating help for local households in need, residents can also seek assistance for an energy bill credit through Great Lakes Community Action Partnership (GLCAP).
The GLCAP Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP) offers a one-time utility bill credit for eligible residents of Ottawa, Sandusky, Seneca and Wood counties. Residents of these counties who are facing a fuel shortage or utility disconnect may also apply through GLCAP for EHEAP assistance to reestablish service or replenish fuel.
