Newport News jury convicts former U.S. Postal Service mail carrier of killing workplace rival's husband

Salahud-Din Ibn “Sal” Shabazz was shot to death in the doorway of his Newport News home on April 7. A jury convicted mail carrier Tashara Mone Jackson of first-degree murder in the shooting, which stemmed from a dispute she was having with Shabazz's wife.
