The Newark Arts Alliance has been a group of creatives for over 28 years.
What have we learned in that time? To always expect the unexpected, to navigate our way through good times and bad so that we can keep that creative spirit going, for ourselves and for our community.
We’ve experienced space relocations, economic downturns, loss of funding and in 2021 a pandemic. Just when we thought we had seen everything, we faced a contagious disease that is life threatening.
