New Yorker cartoonist Danny Shanahan arrested on child porn charges

Renowned New Yorker cartoonist, Danny Shanahan, 64, is arrested on child porn charges after police execute warrant to search his computer
Danny Shanahan was arrested by New York State Police in Rhinebeck, New York, on charge of possession of a sexual performance by a child
His arrest came after local police obtained a warrant to search the contents of his computer
Shanahan has been a contract cartoonist at the New Yorker magazine for more than 30 years 
In June, Shanahan's son, Render Stetson-Shanahan, 30, was sentenced to five to 15 years in prison for stabbing to death his roommate in 2016
