New York State DMV Warns Of Text Scam
Once again the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles is warning residents of a text scam that is going around.
The scam first started back last month and now is happening again. Here is what is happening. You get a text saying that "Alert From New York - DMV: Due to our new regulation complaint please update your contact information at: (Link)"

The DMV stated that is a form of phishing and they would never text out that you need to update your information.
They also posted on their website some dos and don'ts when it comes to potential scams.
