Victorian health authorities have added public transport routes and the Queen Victoria Market to the list of COVID exposure sites as the state grapples with a new outbreak triggered by a hotel quarantine breach.
A confirmed case boarded two trams before visiting the fruits and vegetable section last Thursday.
New locations have been added to the government's ‘Tier 1’ list including: Yarra Trams Number 11 and 58 on Thursday February 11, Queen Victoria Market on Thursday Februrary 11 and Elite Swimming in Pascoe Vale on Monday February 8.
Woolworths and Ferguson Plarre Bakehouses in Broadmeadows and Oak Park Sports and Aquatic Centre in Pascoe Vale on Tuesday February 9 were also listed.
