Mahindra & Mahindra recently announced that its upcoming 7 seater SUV in India based on the W601 platform will be called Mahindra XUV700.
New trademarks reveal upcoming Mahindra SUV line-up?
You guys remember that Mahindra & Mahindra recently announced that its upcoming 7 seater SUV in India based on the W601 platform will be called Mahindra XUV700. Then a few days later, we learned the company had filed a trademark for the name Mahindra XUV900. So, it turns out that XUV900 isn't the only new SUV name for which Mahindra Auto has filed a trademark. We can now confirm the home-grown automaker has applied for and received trademarks for at least two other Mahindra XUV names: Mahindra XUV100 and Mahindra XUV400. Of course, the company chooses to maintain silence over this development, but one could say you don't file trademarks for no reason, right? By that logic, it wouldn't be a stretch to assume that Mahindra XUV400 and Mahindra XUV100 are intended to be upcoming SUVs in India even if in a distant future.
