Townhomes could soon be coming to an vacant lot in Castle Hayne.
A proposed development would bring 50 attached townhomes to 3001 Blueclay Road, a more than 8.5 acre piece of land bordered by single family homes and an industrial area.
The New Hanover County Planning Board will hold a public hearing Thursday on a rezoning request required to accommodate the proposed townhomes.
Cindee Wolf, the owner of Design Solutions, submitted an application to change the lot’s zoning from R-20 residential district to a conditional zoning district designation. Wolf is representing the parcel's owner, TF Holdings, Limited Partnership, according to the application.
