New pilot program supplying millions of diapers to families in need
Millions of diapers delivered to Cook County food pantries
Greater Chicago Food Depository has partnered with "Share Our Spare" to offer nearly six-million diapers to those in need.
COOK COUNTY - Dozens of Cook County food pantries are getting an important delivery to help families in need.
A new pilot program will supply about six-million diapers over the next year to partners of the Greater Chicago Food Depository.
At the weekly food pantry at Mission of Our Lady of the Angels in West Humboldt Park, besides filling carts with food, families can also pick up diapers.
