The new Mayor of Liverpool removed the entire existing city council cabinet from their positions on her first day in office.
Joanne Anderson made history yesterday as she was sworn in as Liverpool's first ever female leader - and the first black woman to lead any major UK city.
Later the same day, an email was sent to all current sitting cabinet members informing them that they would be leaving their positions and would be replaced by an entirely new team.
