Governor Kalraj Mishra addressed the newly constituted 16th Assembly in Jaipur, stating that the new government is committed to making Rajasthan a developed state and fulfilling every promise of its 'Sankalp Patra'. He criticized the previous Congress government, stating that it was involved in contradictions and ego battles and failed to make development-oriented policies. Mishra emphasized the goals of the present government, including eliminating corruption and crime, implementing welfare schemes, and reviving the state's economy. Former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot criticized the government for making false allegations against the previous government.
