George Lane in Marlborough where children and families must cross the busy road without the safety of a pedestrian crossing
A ROAD and footpath to be temporarily closed in Marlborough to allow for the installation of a pedestrian crossing.
George Lane and the footpath into Coopers Meadow will be closed from Monday, July 19 so that the low-awaited pedestrian crossing at George Lane can be installed.
It is anticipated that the works will continue until July 31.
The closure will affect part of the B3052 from its junction with Culvermead Close for 80m heading west.
