New Franklin parks getting AEDs

NEW FRANKLIN — The City of New Franklin will purchase seven or eight Lifepak automated external defibrillators (AEDs) to be installed at city parks following Council’s approval Jan.18. Fire Chief Steve Leslie said the devices cost $2,139 each and are fully automated, meaning that the machine itself guides the person using it through the defibrillation
