Prior to his death, DMX was hospitalized and on life support for days. After his death, countless members of the music community shared words of remembrance. Among them was Swizz Beatz, who posted a tribute to the rapper as a video on Instagram, describing him as a “different type of artist, different type of creative, different type of soul.”
