New BASF Peanut Fungicide

Peanut growers facing white mold issues might be breathing a sigh of relief thanks to a new fungicide from BASF. Provysol fungicide effectively protects against key diseases like leaf spot and even white mold and is currently the only FRAC group 3, a new tool for resistance management.
Abraham Fulmer is a BASF Technical Service Representative and here he is explaining how beneficial Provysol can be.
"Provysol is going to be a key product in helping to manage fungicide resistance. Right now, growers are relying very, very heavily on the key products that have come out and hit the market. Really most of them have been group sevens. Having a product like Provysol, which is not a group 7 but a group 3, is going to be critical for helping growers manage fungicide resistance."
