Taurus continues to grow its line of popular
G3 series pistols by adding a factory optics cut to its affordable striker-fired 9mm handguns.
Offered in both the standard G3 and the more compact
G3C model, the new Taurus TORO – Taurus Optic Ready Option – are the same guns that have already carved out a significant piece of the concealed carry market. But now they come with the bonus of having a cut and plate system for red dots.
Taurus had the guns on hand at this week's Shooting Sports Showcase, and reps there told Guns.com the move to offer the factory cut is so consumers can immediately add their choice of micro red dot without the expense of custom gunsmith work or "downtime" of their handgun.
